    And if you imagine it’s being said by a person from the far east who happens to not have any teeth, I think you can see how that’s what you’d here if they were to actually say Take my towel off…

    אבל זה ברור שמי שכתב את הכרטיסיות האלו לא יודע עברית ובטח לא אנגלית. הייתי מהמר על רוסית
    לנסות “להאשים” ישראלים שכאילו כתבו בשגיאות נוראיות ממש לא פוגע במטרה
    מעניין יהיה לשמוע את כל האמריקאים מנסים לדבר עברית
    ואז נוכל להשוות מי עילג יותר

    Aren’t the Russians you speak of also Israelis? And if these Israelis wanted to attract Americans don’t you think they could have found a SINGLE American to check their cards? Also, at the printing place, don’t you think SOMEONE could have found the mistakes? I’m sorry but I don’t accept your point. I think this is a valid post which does indeed continue to show that Israelis, as a generalization, do not put enough thought and effort into doing a good job but rather try to do things as quickly as possible.

    אני הבנתי שהבלוג אכן אמור “לצחוק” ולרדת על המשמעות היומיומית של להיות ישראלים
    אני לא מאמין שהישראלים שערכו את הכרטיסים השקיעו מחשבה יתרה בלמשוך דוברי אנגלית
    משום מה, כיום כל מה שרשום באנגלית נתפס כיותר טוב, ובגלל זה אתה רואה הרבה שלטים ופרסומות באנגלית עילגת
    אתה בישראל ! דבר עיברית. לא מתאים לך תחזור לאן שבאת ממנו, צריך להפסיק עם האימוץ הטיפשי הזה של הרב תרבותיות. שהוא עוד תוצר של תרבות אמריקאית
    בפוסט הזה הוא לא הדגיש מאפיין ישראלי מגוחך אלא רק צחק על אנשים שלא יודעים לדבר אנגלית, בגלל זה הצעתי לנהל שיחה בעיברית ואז נראה מי עילג לא פחות
    יש הבדל בן הדגשה והגזמה של מאפיינים סתיריים מצחיקים לבין לצחוק על מישהו ברמה הכי נמוכה מלמעלה
